Q Aren't LED lights more expensive than traditional lamps?

A Although LED lights may cost more than traditional ones when purchased they reduce electricity usage by up to 90%. LED lights can often pay for themselves in less than 3 years.

Q Is LED lighting available in different types of fitting?

A Yes LED lights are available in a range of fittings, please speak to one of our team with your requirements.

Q Will I need new fittings to make the switch to low energy LEDs?

A In many cases you can use your existing fittings and simply replace the lamp, in cases where a new fitting is required these can be sourced to your requirements by Newleaf energy.

Q How quickly can the savings I will make pay for themselves?

If you are making the change from traditional incandescent lights to LEDs you can expect to make enough in savings to cover the purchase price in approximately 18 to 24 months.

Q How long will an LED last?

A Up to 50,000 hours, all LEDs from Newleaf energy are guaranteed for a minimum of 20,000 hours. (15-30 years based on average usage - 4hrs per day)

A Yes an installation service is available and we are happy to provide a lighting design service.
